Department News

The occasion of National Research Administrator Day gives all of us the chance to celebrate the outstanding work of our research administrators. Thank you for your many contributions to supporting the research mission of our department.  We've had a record year with research funding that has resulted in over 125 department publications,  You play a critical role in supporting our faculty and researchers in our efforts to generate funding and advance innovation in fields like vascularized composite allotransplantation, regenerative medicine, peripheral nerve regeneration and clinical research.  Thank you for all that you do! - Dr. Redett

Meg Bernstein, R.N. and Kim Seifert, R.N. have been recognized by the Baltimore Magazine, each receiving the 2023 Excellence in Nursing Award. Their passion for our patients’ health is appreciated every day.

Sashank Reddy received an R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for his work entitled "Biostimulatory nanofiber-hydrogel composite for soft tissue remodeling.” This award will support his pioneering research in regenerative medicine.
